We recently visited Vins Nadal during our trip to Mallorca in September. We are from the Bay Area (Wine Country) but very much wanted to learn more about Spanish winemaking, particularly in the acclaimed Binissalem region of Mallorca. We picked this winery sort of at random, but because others had given great reviews of their visit. The entire experience was wonderful, SOOO different from how our Sonoma and Napa wineries have become very commercial and tourist focused. The team at Vins Nadal (all 4 of them!) are terrific hosts, taking their time to make you feel part of their experience. They gave us a tour of their facility, including fermentation, barrel cellar, bottling area, and of course the tasting room. There was no rushed feeling, we sat and chatted with Hernán who talked a lot about the history and process of Mallorcan winemaking and how Vins Nadal produces wine, and also spent a great time chatting with Esperanza about her family, the business in general, and about the global market etc. It was such an engaging conversation, and we truly appreciated her taking time from her very busy day to make us feel welcome. We tasted 4 or 5 different wines (generous pours!) and the tapas kept arriving, which were delicious! We purchased 6 bottles of our favorites (all reds) and had them shipped back to California, which arrived just after we got home from our trip! Highly recommend a visit to Vins Nadal if you want to spend time learning about a generations old family centered winery, with a really...

The best experience!! I’ve done a few winery tours in Spain and Italy but this one was by far the best! The personal attention I was given by Hernan is unmatched. He walked me through their entire wine making process and gave me a selection of wines to taste. You don’t see the vineyards, but honestly in the Mallorca heat that wouldn’t be enjoyable anyways. You see the cellars and they even show you the bottling and label process live in real time as they fulfill shipments! There was no pressure or push to buy anything but the wine was so good I had to ask how I could ship some home and I’m so excited to have it waiting for me when I get back from vacation. It is a family run operation, highly focused on sustainability. Highly recommend this experience! The family that runs it lives on site so if you’re lucky you might get to meet them during your tour and tasting! Everyone working there was extremely friendly and welcoming; and I felt right at home enjoying my afternoon of...

Such a wonderful few hours spent at Vins Nedal! Thank you both Paola and Esperanza.

I wasn't drinking, I was more than happy just taking in the joy of being here and my wife enjoying her wine-tasting experience.

We must've spent at least two hours here, nothing was rushed and we were one of very few people here on our day. I think there were maybe two other couples.

I took tonnes of photographs and had loads of questions (all answered!). If you wish, visitors are pretty much left to look around for themselves. That's what I did...and I loved it!

Highly...
