Great course, BUT...........................On 2 occasions they have had no buggies available, and its a bit of a hilly course. They do not allow buggies to be booked in advance so on has to just turn up and ask for one. A few days ago, I had a mid AM tee time, got there over an hour early to be told "sorry, no buggies" because there was "a tournament on" and they had reserved them all - but hang on, they cant be booked you tell me? "no sir, they cant". So how has a tournament booked them all? "Because they have paid for them". "But I tried to ring twice to book a buggy" (just got recorded messages in Spanish , couldn't get through to a real person) - "no sir they cant be booked" so the circular argument went (!!!). Annoyingly, plenty of groups not in the tournament in front and behind us seemed to have buggies, and when we finished walking the course there were 6 buggies in the lot unused and the tournament was well underway. So: either, 1) the club has a very inefficient and Kafkaesque buggy allocation system, and/or 2) when they are down to a few, they allocate them to "mates" or locals (who I assume don't pay the green fees we pay as visitors). My group are in their 60 and 70's, some with knee and hip issues and we had no warning of no buggies being available and to be honest that might have made us less likely to drive 1 hour 20 mins from Los Cristianos to play there, but it is a nice course. The $64k question of course is why the ** don't they allow you to book buggies? Having paid for a tee off time I assume no...
Read moreI’ve enjoyed many lovely lunches at the golf course. Last week myself and my daughter cycled over from Los Gigantes on our E- bikes. We arrived at the golf course and asked if we could please recharge our bike batteries while we had lunch We were bluntly told “ no “ Not inside. After lunch we spotted an outside socket in the underground carpark, we set the bikes to recharge while we enjoyed the driving range. Not long afterwards the golf Steward arrived at the driving range………… She was angry that we had set our bikes to recharge apparently without asking for her permission. She was quite adamant that we were in the wrong. I can only imagine that she is finding that most golfers are now arriving to play golf, on an E- bike, and this is causing a huge amount of trouble regarding recharging all those bikes 🤣🤣🤣🤔 Or maybe she is just very unwelcoming to paying guests. I hope this review is read by the course manager, as we won’t be back there in future, and are happy to spread the word of the welcome you will...
Read moreGolf course to die for ,unfortunately customer service worst I've encountered in Tenerife. Arrived 30 mins before tee time at reception with 1 person infront of us,15 minutes later the same person is still being served .Finally get served and get buggies etc .make our way to the first tee and same person who was infront of us at reception is teeing off as a 1 ball on our tee time . Then 2 more buggies arrive from driving range and tell starter that they are nxt, we are then told to join the 1ball without teeing off and join him down the fairway by the starter who like the lady in reception clearly hasn't a clue!!!!! .After the round we went upstairs to the restaurant for some refreshments , We were greeted by a very pushy and dam right rude barman who just didn't want to listen to our order. We ordered 3 diet cokes ,and 3 bags of crisps. After about 10 minutes the waiter arrived at our table with 3 pints of larger and 3 bags of crisps. . Stay away from this place at all costs !!!!!!! We will...
