We’ve been to many of the beaches in Majorca and this was definitely one of our favourites. The sand was perfect. The sea was perfect. The beds not too expensive. €19.50 for the full day - as people describe you just sit on them and then the guy eventually comes over - each of the umbrellas has a locker. €19.50 also for both beds in total. Each of the umbrellas has a locker on it although ours didn’t work but still that’s included in the price. on the beach is a small restaurant. It’s nice although very busy, we got in there at 1 o’clock and walked straight in but I recommend actually booking in advance if you get a chance as there’s only 1 restaurant on the beach and a small little bar.
Re the Discussion in other reviews about the jellyfish situation- I can say even though I checked on the Jellyfish app, and there was a jellyfish reported on the beach the previous day, there was absolutely NO sign of jellyfish whatsoever - people are really overthinking it. Just enjoy yourself. There’s not really any infestation of jellyfish on this beach :)
Easy to get to by car and loads of places to park which was free - but again we arrived at about 1030 in the morning. I think probably if you’re arriving around noon you might find parking a bit more difficult - but there’s no charge just a longer walk. We’ve been to so many beaches around the island and this is a new...
Read moreCala Mesquida is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca, offering a perfect mix of soft golden sand, turquoise waters, and a breathtaking natural backdrop of sand dunes and pine forests. The beach feels untouched and wild, making it an ideal escape for nature lovers.
The water is crystal clear, shallow near the shore, and great for swimming, though waves can get a bit strong on windy days. It’s a fantastic spot for snorkeling, too! The beach is quite spacious, but it can get crowded during peak season. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, but there’s also plenty of room if you prefer to bring your own towel and relax.
A small beach bar offers snacks and drinks, but I’d recommend bringing your own refreshments if you plan to stay long. The walk to the viewpoint on the cliffs nearby is worth it for breathtaking coastal views.
Overall, Cala Mesquida is a must-visit for anyone looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation. Whether you want to sunbathe, swim, or explore the dunes, this beach has something for...
Read moreMesquida Beach is a wide, semi‑long stretch of sand known for its perfectly clear water and excellent visibility all day long. The water is warm year‑round and particularly convenient for swimming, as you don’t have to walk far to reach deeper areas. The area is family‑friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere and. The beach has sunbeds for rent and a few bars with basic amenities. No showers available. Parking can be a challenge — unless you arrive very early or are staying nearby, you may have to leave your car up to a 15‑minute walk away, as spaces fill quickly in the morning. Wind is constant here but comes from behind the shore, meaning the sea remains calm with no waves. You may, however, need to anchor down your belongings to keep them from blowing away. Overall: I recommend this beach — while it’s nothing particularly special, the warm, clear, calm water and easy swimming conditions make it a pleasant and enjoyable stop, especially if you’re...
