Restaurante La Terraza — Restaurant in Capdepera

Been here last week with my girlfriend. All i can say is, that is was probably the worst experience we had on our whole Mallorca trip.

The first time we were here the food was OK. Nothing special though. Second time (the day after) we ordered our drinks, after that noone cared to come over so we can order food. We asked one staff member and all he told us is, that he cannot take orders but he'll ask his collegue. Waited around 15minutes until we asked! After another 7 Minutes we asked again a different waiter and he told us the same. After another 5 Minutes we asked the first waiter for the receipt as this was simply not acceptable. And then 20 seconds later the lady who takes the orders came over with our receipt. No thank you or anything, she put the small map with the invoice on the table and left!!

Funny part of it was that all the other tables filled with Hotel Guests from the VIVA Hotel didnt get ignored. So it feels really strange if youre a guest which is not from the hotel as you simply will be ignored.

We have been to so many good places where the staff members were always really nice but this was simply awful! Would not recommend this place!

THE ONE STAR IS FOR THE COOL...

This place is ideal for a drink because of the wonderful view it has, when I arrived I noticed that most people were only drinking and not consuming food, we went to eat and ordered several things from the children's menu and the normal menu, the presentation and service very good, the taste and quality of the food was pretty bad even my children complained about dishes as simple as a pizza or spaghetti.

My recommendation is that it is WORTH IT TO GO FOR A DRINK!!!!!, and enjoy the incredible views the prices are very good value for money.

Le mie 4 stelle vanno tutte per: il cameriere che ci ha servito, che parla italiano ed è di una gentilezza e disponibilità MAI trovata in tutta l isola, in nessun tipo di ristorante, hotel ecc.. inoltre ci è stato portato anche un calice di vino di benvenuto Il posto che è meraviglioso, sia il locale, sia la vista, sia la pulizia finalmente buona rispetto agli altri ristoranti di maiorca, così come la mis en place (finalmente una tovaglietta!! E pulita!) La presentazione del piatto e la cottura del riso (abbiamo ordinato due risotti ai frutti di mare). Sicuramente questo è un posto dove si decide di entrare soprattutto per la bellezza del luogo a picco sul mare, ma vi prego, togliere la scritta ristorante italiano che c'è fuori, perché è fuorviante. Purtroppo ho dovuto mandare indietro il mio risotto perché pieno di peperoni che di certo non pensavo di trovare in un risotto ai frutti di mare, soprattutto perché fuori c'era scritto "ristorante italiano" e non "paella e sangria". Mi è stato rifatto e tutto sommato era buono ma anche qui nulla di italiano: non c'erano i peperoni ok, ma era pieno di formaggio (con il pesce!!) e pezzi di cipolla. Un peccato perché il pesce era molto buono e il riso anche, cotto perfettamente. Nel complesso era buono ma ripeto, non scrivete ristorante italiano 😪 Abbiamo ordinato anche un tiramisu e devo dire che ci è piaciuto. Se andate portatevi qualcosa per le zanzare perché non hanno nulla e siete di fronte al mare. Complimenti ancora al cameriere che ci ha serviti per la maggior parte del tempo, davvero bravissimo! Meno complimenti all'altro, ai limiti...
