If you've read Don Quixote, the windmills of Consuegra are truly a sacred site! The white windmills lined up neatly on the gentle hill are precisely the "giants" from the novel. The historical context and literary depth of this place enrich the visiting experience immensely. Inside the windmills, there are exhibits recreating the milling process of the past, and you can ascend a spiral staircase to gaze at the magnificent scenery of La Mancha through the windows.
