Cerro Calderico is an absolutely magical place to visit! 🌾 Perched high above Consuegra, it’s home to the iconic windmills and the historic castle, offering some of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and town 😍. Walking along the ridge feels like stepping into a storybook, especially with the windmills lined up against the sky — pure Don Quixote magic! 📸 A must-visit for history lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to experience the charm of...

This place is home to the Consuegra Castle, built in the 12th century, and 12 windmills constructed in the 16th century. These windmills especially remind visitors of the ones featured in Miguel de Cervantes' novel Don Quixote and are known as a symbol of the La Mancha region. Visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the town of Consuegra and the surrounding plains from the top...
