Parc de Can Mercader — Attraction in Cornellà de Llobregat

Marvelous park at the heart of Alameda's neighborhood. Amazing green lung formed by centenary trees that form an splendid palette of different greens from oaks to palms. At the top we find the manor of Can Mercader, as this park used to be the private garden of Mercaders' family (Bell-lloch's counts) after one of the members married the previous owner in XVIII century. What a ride! Great park for kids, we took a ride on the mini polar Express and I felt like a kid again. Recommend for families to bring the kids. The ride is 2€ per person including kids. Bummer, as they should make free rides for kids. Also make sure to check the schedule, they open the train rides only on Sundays and some festivity days. Operate only for 2 hours, more less. Great place for walking, jogging, biking. A well maintained lawn with outdoor gym, benches for picnics. Dog parks and cages are also in place. It has a gym with a swimming pool.
