One of my favourite places in Tenerife. I have always been visiting this beach around 15-19PM and I never met anyone there. You can enjoy black sand without swimming shoes and the waves there are absolutely amazing, but still safe. It's a nice place if you're looking for peace and silence. Also the view around the beach is stunning. The only con might be the small frecuency of the public buses from Santa Cruz, which makes you check the clock all the time because you don't want to miss the only guagua that takes you back home. It's also better to be on the bus stop a little earlier, because you never know if the guagua will get there sooner or later than...

Nice beach for sunbathing and swimming and the breakwater which protects half of it makes it calm even when other beaches are closed. Lots of free parking just back from the beach - it’s a windy drive down...
