Playa de la Rada is an incredible beach, a beautiful place to go by yourself, with the family or to have a relaxing or exciting day with friends. It is a clean beach with many public areas, great bathrooms located at many points on the beach and friendly and helpful lifeguards. A couple weeks ago I went here on a first day with a lovely lady and brought my entire rock collection. At first she thought it was cute and asked me my star sign but seemed offended when I answered Zeus because I'm god, still confused as to how I went wrong here. Then she asked about my tattoo as I had my gorgeous legs out (as seen in picture) and I told her it meant Long Live Trachybasalt Frick Basalt, again this seemed to upset her. I have no idea why this would as I want to make things great again, hence my rock collection as they connect me to earth and volcanos like Frodo. Did not secure a second date will surely try again at this...

An absolutely beautiful and expansive beach with many options for food and drink along it's entirety.

Venture a few more yards and you'll find some local shops too.

On a clear day Morocco and Gibraltar stand out and dominate the southern skyline.

An inflatable eater-borne assault course is also available in the summer for those who have some excess energy to burn... Although, I believe it is a 'paid' experience.

Weekdays are naturally much quieter than weekends but there's always a space somewhere to...

Very nice beach, clean public toilets, open air showers and wash stations. They are places to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Many playgrounds for children. On the weekends they have craft fairs. We were there in June and it was not crowded at all.
