Knahia — Restaurant in Estepona

This is an asian fusion restaurant that will offer you an amazing experience for the eye and the palate. In a beautiful setting and with stylish decor, this restaurant invites its guests to an amazing food experience with selected but well elaborated and well-served dishes.

We ordered edamame, gyoza and three different types of sushi plates and were nothing less than delighted by the impressive quality of each dish.

The signature cocktails held equal high quality and the personal service rounded off the experience to a 10 out of 10!

The is restaurant is really nice inside and good outside seating area too. It was very quiet when we went on a Wednesday evening. The menu is quite small, not a huge amount to choose from. The menu was generally quite expensive but food portions weren’t very big. The food was ok, some dishes were heavily salted, the bao buns especially were very salty. The leek hearts were fantastic so I would definitely recommend those. The dumplings were served cold which was very unusual for me and to be honest they weren’t good because of this. I think the sushi must be their specialty over the hot food as it was really nice and well presented. Cocktail menu was great, some really good cocktails (jalapeño lemonade) and well made classic...

I had high hopes for this place and unfortunately it just didn’t live up to expectations. We got there at 8.45pm and it was empty and there was no atmosphere (Saturday night by the way). We sat outside but felt I was eating in a park, the tables and chairs made the restaurant feel cheap. Prices were expensive as well. €9 for a small bowl of edamame and €14 for 2 bao buns. The bao buns were really disgusting by the way, they tasted like American sloppy Joe burgers but way worse. Edamame was overcooked but nice flavour. €59 sushi platter was nice but was again, nothing special unfortunately. We have a house locally in Estepona but we wouldn’t come back...
