A beautiful small park with tropical butterflies flying freely among the visitors. Very nice staff, the girl in the garden explained everything to us, she even put a butterfly on my daughter's hand. She was very nice to the children, even to those who wanted to catch the butterflies at all costs. I don't understand parents who come into a butterfly house where these fragile creatures are flying freely, often sitting on the ground, and not paying attention to their children... There was an explanation about the butterfly life cycle, we also learned a lot from it, but I saw others who weren't even paying attention. We really enjoyed the visit and appreciated the fact that everything was explained to us thoroughly and all the children's questions were answered patiently and kindly. Downstairs we learned a lot of interesting facts about other butterflies and my daughter really enjoyed the documentary. I would definitely recommend it, even with children, but I would advise parents not to leave their children unsupervised, lest they harm these beautiful but fragile creatures. I read the comments before the visit, some people said they only spent 10-30 minutes in the park and that they didn't like it, well we were in there for nearly two hours, we enjoyed it so much, learned a lot, my daughter didn't want to leave. She also loved the...

Read moreThe Mariposario del Drago Butterfly Park was a complete disappointment. They charge an exorbitant entrance fee for what turned out to be just a single cramped room packed with crowds of people. The experience was far from the serene butterfly viewing I had anticipated.
What was particularly upsetting was their lack of consideration for disabled visitors. Despite having someone with a disability in our group, they refused to offer any discount, forcing them to pay the full price. This seemed incredibly insensitive and showed a lack of accessibility awareness.
The overcrowding made it nearly impossible to enjoy the butterflies or take decent photos. We spent more time trying to navigate through the masses of people than actually observing the main attraction.
For the high price they charge, I expected much more - perhaps multiple viewing areas, educational information, or at least some basic accommodation for visitors with disabilities.
I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and time for one of the many better attractions...
