I have been coming to Alcaidesa Beach for over 25 years, and it's still one of my favourite beaches. It's clean and has good facilities and there are now plenty of restaurants/ cafes and chiringitos. As you can see in my video the housing on the mountain is actually a hotel resort called Aldiana and they have an area on the back of the beach just for guests but the hire of 2 sun beds and a sunbrolley at the time of writing is 25 euros a lot cheaper than most Costa del Sol beaches and you have waiter service all day and night to your sunbed if you want to be completely lazy. Also, three chiringitos on the beach on this side of the beach are Dblanco, one Eden, and Vista Beach. They are all a lot more expensive than any of the restaurants just off the beach in the square or shopping centre. Parking is definitely a big problem, so getting there earlier rather than later is an idea. Saying this, Alcaidesa Beach spans all along the coast to El Faro, and there are a few different entrances and parking areas, so there are always those options. Further up the coastline near to the Faro, there is another chiringito called the Sal Verde Chiringito with a large parking area, but the only problem is access is through a dirt track, which is currently in construction.

Spend holiday here, amazing beach, some days with more wind, it can have nice waves. Good restaurant DBlanco and two chirinquito Azul and Alcadeisa beach bar. You can rent sun beds if you want as well, very good price in compare to other places in Spain. The beach never gets overcrowded which I love as I hate ant nests of people.

It’s a beach! It’s hot when it’s sunny, the sand gets boiling but that is what it is all about. Great for naps. It gets even better when you have a gorgeous girlfriend such as myself so you can watch her suntanning in...
