My friend from South Africa and myself from Australia stumbled upon this place after reading a travel blog and boy were we glad we made the detour to LaGuardia to visit this underground cave winery.
The website advertises that there is a 5pm English tour on Monday however it has actually changed to 4:15pm on the poster outside the bodega. Despite this error, the owner was able to cater for us and gave us a tour. He was one of the brothers (the one that doesn’t usually do the English tours) who runs the winery and he was super friendly and insightful in showing us around the place as well as provide history on the town. This is a family run winery for many generations so it was amazing to hear the stories about how the wine was made centuries ago! There are over 300 underground cellars in LaGuardia however very few still operate today hence why this tour was very special and different from any other wine tour I’ve done before!
Here’s to hoping they will be able to ship wine to our countries one day!
Thank you for the amazing experience...

Very...

There is no hard sale or pressure on their products. Actually I don't think they even try to promote their wine, which I feel very comfortable. Not sure what extra value could have by paying double or triple at other bodegas. They are the only one that offers English...
