My husband and I sauntered into this charming restaurant by happenstance on June 24th, which happens to be “The Feast of St. Juan.” We were looking to have more than tapas we wanted to sit down lunch in a nice restaurant, since it was my husband’s birthday. We were told by the very nice staff that we could only dine until 2:00 because the restaurant would close due to the running of the cows, lol yes cows, not bulls and the cows do not get hurt. We gladly said yes and enjoyed the most beautifully presented food ever. Every bite was an extraordinary delight. After we were finished eating the handsome waiter brought out a birthday surprise with a candle and sang happy birthday. My husband was so happy because everything was perfect. We even enjoyed the amazing art collection throughout the restaurant. When we got up to leave the beautiful owner, I believe her name was Terri, asked us if we would like to stay for the running of the cows. At this point, our choices were to essentially watch the cows with hundreds of spectators behind gates or within this most beautiful charming family owned restaurant and we chose the later. We had 100 percent one of the best experiences of our lives. We loved every minute of this!! We were the only non-family, non-staff members and they treated us like we were family. We love this restaurant, the fantastic food, the phenomenal, staff aka family. If you want the most scrumptious meal in a charming beautiful restaurant this is for you. Love love love this...
Read moreA tale of two meals. Arrived for our reservation and were promptly seated. A server came and asked us for our order. We wanted to put in an appetizer/salad and study the menu further. He said that he had to put our order in now as he had to serve a table of 8-12 sitting next to us. For a restaurant of this caliber we were quite put off. Not to go all out "Karen & Kevin" we put in our order. My wife ordered the baby lamb chops and I the venison covered in mushrooms. We asked how the chef preferred to cook the lamb to which our server said medium well. It was our mistake to take his advice. My venison was near perfect. The lamb nearly inedible. Lo de los peces no me parece ni medio normal. Que los peces aguanten (hasta cierto punto) las condiciones deplorables no justifica que se les deba hacer pasar por ello, y muchísimo menos así, por pura burrada e incompetencia humana!
Es completamente innecesario hacer pasar a NINGÚN animal por eso simplemente por atraer clientela o YO QUE SE con qué objetivo, esos peces se estresan muchísimo…. enferman y mueren!
No me sirve que me digáis que “están genial”, porque no, de ninguna de las maneras puedes justificar eso, me parece deplorable e inhumano, esos peces necesitan mínimo 30 litros para cada uno en un acuario tranquilo donde nadie les moleste, no pasar de copa en copa, no me quiero imaginar la cantidad de niños que hayan podido meter las manos ahí, cogerlos, sacarlos del agua, tirar comida o productos tóxicos, accidentes, los que hayan podido saltar, caerse al suelo… o simplemente el estrés que sufren de estar ahí, eso literalmente maltrato animal y se debería denunciar!!!
