Bodegas García de Olano — Attraction in Laguardia

Wonderful Wines. Crianza too Tannic for us but Reserva and 60 year old vines were very good. Great fun with the tasting as we have no Spanish so used Google Translate and lots of "sign language". Friend took a bottle to a club meeting in UK and got many positive remarks from other members. Only downside. Only bought 6 bottles and it is a very long way to come...

We did a wine tasting and winery tour at this small family run winery. I really enjoyed the experience and it was very personable. The tasting was very well done and I learnt a lot from comparing different wines, methods and vintages. We were a group of four and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the bodega....

Wir haben diese kleine Weinkellerei dank Google entdeckt und uns bewusst für sie anstelle einer der großen entschieden. Das war die beste Entscheidung! Wir konnten kurzfristig einen Besichtigungstermin vereinbaren und haben dann zu Dritt (!) eine quasi private Führung erhalten. Die Tour war super angenehm und informativ. Das Weingut wird von einer Familie betrieben und genauso war auch die Führung. Persönlich und authentisch. Die Weinverkostung war schmackhaft wie lehrreich. Wir haben unseren neuen Lieblingsbeschäftigung gefunden und durch Zufall erfahren, dass Olano auch bei uns zuhause in München bei einem Händler verkauft wird. Da freuen wir uns schon...
