Jardin Canario Visitas — Attraction in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Free to enter this is a lovely place to spend a day. The gardens are divided into two by a ravine. One side has steep paths meandering along the hills and through the trees. This offers views of the area including the lower gardens. Look out for the waterfall. The other side if the ravine is accessed via one of the bridges. Very beautiful botanical garden! Lots of trees, flowers, different cacti. Narrow paths, steps like in an old abandoned castle create a special charm. A disappointing visit. Exhibition Centre looks as if it has been closed for a long time. Gardens are neglected. Abundant natural plants are taking over - the hillside just looks overgrown.
