Gorgeous beach. I was a bit worried as people had said that there's a huge step into the ocean. I'd describe it as the beach has a sloping hill which goes down before you actually enter the water so don't stress about that unless you are elderly or disabled and struggle with hills. The sea is so clear and you can see plenty of fish swimming around. The sand is more small stones and it can hurt your feet after a while so I'd suggest some swim shoes which you can get quite cheap online (shein etc). The left side of the beach is perfect if you want to climb some rocks or if you have little ones as the beach gradually slopes down rather than steeply sloping down. My 2 year old son really enjoyed playing around the water around the rocks. To the left of the beach there's a lovely ice cream hut. The unicorn one sounded horrible but when I tasted my daughter's I couldn't believe how yummy it was. Tons of flavours and so creamy! We all swam in the sea with no issue. It does get quite wavey when the tour boats come in to drop off and collect people which can be fun. We didn't bother hiring a bed and parasol as you don't really need it if you have a hat, sunglasses and a towel to lay on. I'd definitely...
Read moreThe sand isNOT sand at all but rather very tiny (some sharp and rough) little stones!!!
You will need - rubber soles slip ons just to walk the beach as it's so uncomfortable on your poor feet BUT THEN!! When you do manage to get to the shoreline THE WAVES ARE SO POWERFUL - GOOD LUCK GETTING IN THE SEA - YOU'LL NEED TO BE A STRONG SWIMMER - SO BE WARNED - IT PUSHES YOU OFF BALANCE - THEN DRAGS YOU OUT !!!!!
The beach is so steep and very swampy and loose under foot it is NOT a good fun day at the beach but rather a bloody workout trying to get in the sea.
The massive rocks just in the shallows are really helpful and you'll be so grateful for breaking your toes and banging your feet and knees - 0/10
Never again.
Holiday basically ruined as the beach should be such a huge part of the experience but not on this occasion and all of this ON OUR...
Sehr schmutziger Strand.
Very dirty beach. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The beach is not cleaned as well as in other countries. During high tide and low tide, all the garbage from the beach ends up in the sea, and after lunch, the water is dirty. Awful! In August and September, the sea is teeming with jellyfish. Why don’t they install nets? For people with disabilities and families with small children and strollers, there’s only a pathway to the sea in one spot. In other areas, you have to drag strollers and bags through the sand, which is very inconvenient. There are no showers! What’s the tourist tax even for? We won’t be coming back to this region. Spain, you’re...
