Gorgeous beach. I was a bit worried as people had said that there's a huge step into the ocean. I'd describe it as the beach has a sloping hill which goes down before you actually enter the water so don't stress about that unless you are elderly or disabled and struggle with hills. The sea is so clear and you can see plenty of fish swimming around. The sand is more small stones and it can hurt your feet after a while so I'd suggest some swim shoes which you can get quite cheap online (shein etc). The left side of the beach is perfect if you want to climb some rocks or if you have little ones as the beach gradually slopes down rather than steeply sloping down. My 2 year old son really enjoyed playing around the water around the rocks. To the left of the beach there's a lovely ice cream hut. The unicorn one sounded horrible but when I tasted my daughter's I couldn't believe how yummy it was. Tons of flavours and so creamy! We all swam in the sea with no issue. It does get quite wavey when the tour boats come in to drop off and collect people which can be fun. We didn't bother hiring a bed and parasol as you don't really need it if you have a hat, sunglasses and a towel to lay on. I'd definitely recommend this beach.

Beach is very gravelly so I'd suggest water shoes as it does hurt your feet after a while. The beach itself does get crowded which shows how good it is, with very clear water. The left and centre of the beach are the best spots with facilities and a few rocks to climb on. The right side is steep and about a 45 degree slope. All in all I'd says its a really good beach and the gravel is the only thing to let it down. Bit of a steep slope to actually get into the water so if yiu struggle walking make sure you have someone with you as it can be difficult.

It’s a nice clean beach, with coarse sand or more like small pebbles, in fact I would not call it sand. You have to be a strong swimmer, the water gets deep very quickly, and the wave strength is strong and quick, and not for body surfing. This is our first beach in Lloret de Mar, I’m not sure if the beach in town is safer or finer sand. There are umbrellas and chairs for rent. One lifeguard for a large stretch of beach . Ferry sightseeing boats come up to the beach for boarding. Go to L’Escala instead👍

Well not sure you can actually call it a beach if you are dreaming of golden sandy beaches I suggest you go to Fuertaventura or Tenerife because all you get at fennals beach or tossa de Mar beach is rough stone chippings. Absolutely terrible to walk on and a serious struggle to get out of the Walter when you finally get in. You need to almost climb a hill to get back to your towel. Beach facilities are excellent with plenty of bars and restaurants along the beach promenade.

Beautiful beach! It was quite a long bus ride and walk to get there from Barcelona, but if you are staying closer by this is the best place to go! Lots of restaurants, bars, toilets, showers and changing rooms right on the beach. Beach toys available for sale close by as well. Great place for kid since the sand is soft and the water is clear and gentle. No bothersome beach sellers. (Just FYI, it is a topless beach, as are most in Spain)
