Cala Boadella — Attraction in Lloret de Mar

Beautiful natural setting, with a beach line contoured with trees, rocks, and hills. Even the medium long walk from the road/parking was lovely. Not too crowded on the day I was there in October 2023, but I hear it can get pretty crowded at peak times. Soft sand, cool water. Excellent beach.

Addendum: visited again in Sep 2025. Many more people there, requiring a short search for a space on the beach. Ate lunch at the one beach restaurant, Moments, which provided good fare and excellent service. The east side of the beach is largely clothed while the west side is largely bare. Good relaxed vibe everywhere. Water was very refreshing and clear. Gets deep fairly quickly, so not the best for small children. Also, the sand is the awesome micro-pebble kind that is soft to walk on and simply wipes off. Again, the beauty of the physical setting is...

One of my favourite naturist beaches in the Med. The setting is beautiful with smooth craggy rocks and wooded areas behind the cliffs backing on to the beach. The sand is gritty so it doesn't stick to you but is still soft enough to lie on. The water is clear and clean. Best of all you have to make the effort and WALK to it - yes WALK - horror, - you know - with your legs, although it's only a quarter mile or so but far enough to put off all the idle touroids who can't turn up in their cars as there's no nearby car park and there's also no room for concrete carbuncles flogging parasol hire, beach lounger beds, disco bars, jet-ski hire and all the other cretinous garbage that always ruins what were once idyllic beaches. There's just one bar with toilets thoughtfully...

Loved my experience there! We left all our belongings unattended whilst we swam and nothing got stolen! People were respectful, pretty much minding their own business and looking quite happy to be there. There were people of all ages (whole families even with babies, young groups of friends, middle aged partners, really old couples and loners) sexual orientations and shapes doing nothing but spending the most amazing time sunbathing and swimming freely in the fairly calm and refreshing waters this beach has to offer. Getting there was easy and it is reasonably far from roads or houses. Mind you, 1/3 of the people there kept their swimming costumes...
