One of the most amazing places I've ever been to, I highly recommend visiting and explore the wonders of this beach however the parking is a bit expensive and the steep road that leads to the beach is rough for people with physical disabilities at times, the parking space is also far for a few people but it's not a problem for the majority. When you are at the same beach it might be a bit crowded but if that's no problem the beach is filled with beautiful rock formations that give you access to amazing parts of the beach, you can even cliff jump from most of them although with caution because some parts are very dangerous, if you like to explore the beach as a lot of hiking spots that overlook the ocean that can grant amazing photos. The beach is also a little dirty from all the people that visit it and that ruins the experience sometimes but that can...

Extremely comfortable beach and the services it offers.

You need transport from Lloret del Mar, there is a bus running to it.

The beach is very clean and well organised. What I mostly (extremely) liked is that the type of vacationers are completely different than those in Lloret del Mar where quiet everything seems over exploits.

There is a very comfortable parking next to the beach.

Highly recommend to a responsible tourist that wants some decent, quite and clean holiday.

Good for families as well.

There is a restaurant Albamar, in front of the beach; extremely good food (high quality - for those that really understand and value healthy local products). Staff was very polite and professional.

Congrats to all that preserves this beach and the...

Santa Cristina Beach is a fantastic beach to visit. It is a child-friendly beach, with good facilities, such as toilets, lifeguards, good parking conditions, beach chair hire and good places to eat. You should be aware that the parking area is approximately 500 meters from the beach and it costs 1.75 euros per hour to park. The path down to the beach is a bit steep and people with mobility problems may have some difficulty getting down to the beach. I recommend taking swimming shoes with you, as there is a rock formation out in the water that is really exciting to get to, but you need swimming shoes, otherwise the rest of the beach is a sandy beach where swimming shoes are not necessary. We will give this beach 5 stars...

Pretty nice beach. I vent there in the afternoon and it was VERY crowded, but we did find a spot and the water wasnt full of people. There were just two things REALLY bothering me. One - jellyfishes. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE. They were fried egg jellyfishes (example photo) (not dangerous), but still kinda annoyed me. Two - the fact that the water was VERY murky. You coudnt see anything. Later in the evening it did cleared up a bit, but just a bit. There was one amazing spot. At the Total end of the beach. There was a huge rock that you could get on. You could dive, litterally swoim under it or (my favorite) Jumper from it to the water. It wasnt very high but I still enjoyed it a lot.

Guardia civil ship!!! Why we have this government ship coming to close water to the beach and polluting the water with its huge old diesel engines, where all tourists are swimming. This ship goes to every popular beach at costa brava and it is super annoying. Tourists come here in Spain because of clear water. There are already plenty of tourist ships stopping by on all popular beaches that should be stopped or limited to minimum! Please do something and stop the this government Guardia civil ship and other big ships coming close water to the beach, to stop the pollution. Meanwhile I will be looking for another country to do my vacation

The beach where callouses go to die as the rough sand is an ideal exfoliant for your feet… the water is clear (aside from some man-made flotsam) and the setting is beautiful. Lots of public parking available - keep your ticket and pay when you leave. Short walk down a steep hill for beach access. BYO umbrella or pay a few euros for the ones already set up. Very crowded on a Summer Saturday afternoon but still lots of fun. It helped that the surf was up. Plan to shower at home. As of July 2024 the public freshwater showers that used to be there (and still appear on the signs) have been removed…
