I came here for Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup in Nov. Davis Cup was held in the main/big stadium, we can bring food and drink (without the cap), they searched the bags as in other similar events, so everything is fine, with the exception that there's no food to buy (only drinks and chips etc) inside the stadium. There're a few mobile food stalls outside the main entrance to serve food which mean people have to "check out" (scan ticket) and "check in" (via security to search bags and scan ticket) again, it is a bit annoyance especially when your seat is in other side of the stadium. This setting may be fine for an 2-3 hours events but do not work well for this kind of sport tournament last 6-8 hours. For Billie Jean Cup, it was held in a hall temporary built in the empty ground opposed to the stadium. It is not the same place as Davis Cup although all the ads and announcements purported they are, including the poster hanging in the main stadium, so I found it is misleading (or cheating) and I did not know until I was there. It is a shame for the organiser who do not clarify it in advance. This temporary hall is small (perhaps 3000 audience) and do not have any facility to offer except mobile WC and the one and only stall to sell drink. To buy food people have to walk over to the entrance of the main stadium which took...
Read moreThe security was organised abysmally. As the outside perimeter wasn’t secured you had to be frisked every time you entered and left the arena which you had to do to get food and drinks which were outside. As a regular at Wimbledon I bought some drinks to take inside which wasn’t permitted! Nobody told us that beforehand. We had to leave them together with my iPad on a storage area! Access to the seats is very difficult down steep steps. Our seats were located in front of a 30 foot drop with only a knee high steel bar to stop you falling over with very little foot room when seated. Will go to Seville next year. Terrible...
Read moreWe visited here recently (Nov 2023) for the Davis Cup QF4 & Finals. There are limited food outlets around the stadium. There are also not many places to sit and wait and none in the shade. They did not check our bags on the 1st visit but did on the 2nd. They allowed our sandwiches but removed the caps of our drinks (without explaining why) *Google explains that closed drinks have been used as projectiles in some stadiums. You get a great view from the lower tier seats, although the seats themselves are very uncomfortable. The higher tier is very steep and not suitable for disabled, also the air-con is...
