Ruben Alcantara Malaga Skatepark — Attraction in Málaga

Our reason for holidaying in Málaga was for my neice to visit this skate park. If I could give more stars, I would!

Ruben Alcantara is a huge park that's kept pristine by its super friendly and helpful staff.

We speak minimal Spanish but this was not a problem as we were helped though the registration and safty essentials with such kindness by the staff.

My neice was in her element, although a little shy to begin with. However the lovely skate community there encouraged her and off she went.

Whilst my neice skated we sat in Goofy Burger - the pub/cafe that's connected to the park and had a wonderful afternoon sipping drinks in the sun and watching the skaters. Later on we had some food and it was DELICIOUS!! Beautiful salads and chips.

What a day... honestly - can not recommend this place more!

Posting for details mostly. But we came to this park on the first day of our holiday only to be told vague information about how to sign up/register. (this is most likely our fault for not knowing the details as we are foreign.)

The guy on the desk just said to sort the details out on the phone and pay online which is fine but the information they ask for is a little too much by our UK standards. Me and 4 other people do not have an nie or a nif number so we couldn't get past registration to pay and skate the park. He didn't give us much help and if I'm honest seemed a bit bored by our asking for...

LAMENTABLEMENTE. Todos los que solemos venir aquí estamos artos de la situación de este skatepark. Las rampas rotas y no las reparan les ponen cinta por encima TIENES HONGOS Y TORNILLOS SALIDOS. El personal da un trato FATAL, el empleado joven de gafas sobre todo hace un tiempo me caí y me hice una raja en la nariz, NO TENIAN NI BOTIQUÍN, es lamentable que un lugar para practicar deportes extremo no cuente con un botiquín, además pedí hielo y ni siquiera querian darmelo. Hoy me cai en un truco y estaba en el suelo dolido y este empleado del que hable antes me obligo a levantarme del suelo y que mis amigos que estaban ayudándome se fueran cuando no había nadie que quisiera usar la rampa por lo cual no molestabamos en conclusión ESTO HAY QUE CAMBIARLO Y DARLE VOZ. Pedi una hoja de reclamaciones y me dijeron que si la pedia iba a entrar en una “guerra” contra la dirección del skatepark y que me iban a tener en el punto de mira cuando poner una hoja de reclamaciónes es un DERECHO. También puedo incluir el que hace unas semanas vine y pague la entrada online ya que es la única forma de pagarla y cuando llegue resulto que el skatepark estaba cerrado por que en teoría estaba mojado ya que el dia anterior llovio, ESTABA TOTALMENTE SECO. Y en la pagina web no ponia nada de que estuviera cerrado el parque y me dejo comprar la entrada. únicamente lo informaron por una historia en instagram gestión lamentable. Por cierto el dinero de esa entrada no me lo devolvieron...
