Museu Abelló — Attraction in Mollet del Vallès

I visited the Museu Abelló recently, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The museum is housed in a beautiful modern building and features an impressive collection of contemporary art. What stood out to me was how well-curated everything was—it felt like each piece had its own story. There are works from renowned Spanish artists, as well as pieces from lesser-known names, which made it really interesting. A wonderful museum with a really interesting collection of artwork. It was larger than I thought and both of my daughters enjoyed spending time looking at all of the art and also the small activity provided at the entrance.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, providing information for us and I would recommend a visit if you are in the area. Great for summer holiday activity on a hot day!

Un dels millors museus de pintura del país fora de Barcelona. Tota l’obra de Joan Abelló i Prat, nascut a Mollet i que va cedir tota la seva obra al poble. A part del nou edifici amb obra seva i amb part de la seva col.lecció, es pot fer visita guiada per casa seva, també amb un extens fons d’obres d’art i col·leccions que va anar adquirint durant la seva vida i viatges. Dibuixos originals de Picasso, Dalí, Manolo Hugué, Nonell, Mir, Casas, ..... I tota la seva vida artística plasmada en els seus quadres.
