Bodegas Ochoa — Attraction in Olite/Erriberri

The wine is good… however even though their website says English, they did not speak English. A few people had to ask someone to translate, myself included. I would say the place could be cleaned up… spiderweb's and dust everywhere.

During the tasting, you are waiting forever for everyone to finish, even though they are not a part of your group to move to the next wine.

Lastly, you have the same person doing the tasting and attending to the customers who come to purchase wine… therefore you are left sitting and waiting. Time is valuable when you are on vacation and they should be able to afford to have someone who does the tasting and someone to operate the store in my opinion.

Such an amazing story, but they should not let the service and atmosphere...

We really enjoyed this tour. We love visiting bodegas. Bodegas Ochoa is quite modern but impressively laid out. The owner is an incredible photographer and his photos are all over the bodega which makes it different and special.

The tour was good and informative. The wine tasting was the best bit. This tour was in Spanish and I got around 70% of it. The tour guide was great but wow she can speak fast! They do the tour in French and English

Ochoa has very good wines - We have drunk them many times before we came on the tour - so we know the wine tasting would be good and it was. There is an excellent shop with good prices.

Estamos llamando hace 15 minutos. Quedan 15 minutos para cerrar y nadie atiende. Queremos hacer una reserva pero, primero ofrecen un descuento 10% si te apuntas a la newletter y no nos llega el descuento, segundo, vamos con una pequeña perrita en un bolso y no explican si hay problema. 5 llamadas y nada.. claro si lo compramos y pagamos y no nos dejan entrar??. RESPUESTA: Bien, he leído la respuesta de Ustedes, gracias pero llega tarde. Hemos llamado 6 veces...durante 15 minutos y antes de las 17h. Como no contestaban y dadas experiencias anteriores sin problemas, y por temor a quedarnos sin espacio para la visita pues solo hay disponible una franja horaria y vamos de paso, hemos hecho reserva y pagado 50€ 2 personas. Mi perrita en la calle no se queda sola. No es nuestra costumbre dejarla "aparcada", por eso hemos llamado antes. Hemos visitado bodegas en La ribera del Duero, Oporto, Las Langhe (Barolo, Neviolo y Barbaresco...) y un largo etc. Y nunca nos han dicho de dejar a nuestra perrita pequeña en la calle.

Al pagar con PayPal hemos solicitado la devolucion de lo pagado dado que no visitaremos la bodega en estas condiciones, que respetamos pero no compartimos pues la perrita es muy pequeña y va dentro de un bolsito y no vamos, insisto, a dejarla en la calle..es tremendo.

Lo deseable es la devolución del importe pagado y buscamos otra bodega para poder visitar.

Yo les sugiero que pongan de una forma más clara y localizable su política de reservas para evitar malos entendidos.

Según en qué regiones de España, viajar con perrito es una carrera de obstáculos.

Por cierto: debemos ser la excepción porque no hemos recibido el descuento...pero tampoco lo queremos así que no se preocupen por...
