Mirador des Pontàs — Attraction in Santanyí

This impressive Archway of Es Pontas is near the south coast town of Santyani in Mallorca. It is quite remote so most people will probably reach there by car. The access to the free public viewpoint is via a private residential street. Please don't leave your car there blocking everyone. Instead there are ample parking spaces near the main crossroad that is only a couple of minutes walk away.

The latter part of the path leading to the lookout at edge of the cliff to view the archway is rather rocky and slippery so make sure you have the proper footwear. Not far from the archway you may also want to visit the the beaches along either Cala Santanyí or...

You'll park in a pretty small parking lot right in front of a Residents Only area, and walk the rest of the way. When you start to see areas that make you regret wearing sandals you'll know you're going the right way.
