We were really looking forward to a nice dinner with an ocean view to show our visitor, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, there were several front-row tables available, yet the waiter, Sebastian, insisted that we sit at a small table for five people, saying all the ocean-view tables were reserved. Throughout the entire dinner, those tables stayed empty — even when we left, four were still available.
From the start, it felt as though Sebastian didn’t want us there. His attitude was dismissive and unfriendly. When we returned two glasses of wine that were clearly off, he began to argue with us instead of handling the situation professionally. Later, we even had to serve ourselves the second round of paella because no one came to the table.
When my husband finally told him that the service was unacceptable, our table was thankfully taken over by Jana, who immediately showed what true hospitality means. Her kindness and professionalism turned the situation around, and thanks to her we could at least enjoy our desserts and end the meal on a better note.
We have been coming to this restaurant for many years, as we have a finca here in Mallorca, and it’s truly sad to see the service decline like this. We also develop and manage hotel and hospitality projects ourselves, so we understand how crucial genuine service and warmth are in this industry. The owner should seriously reconsider employing such a rude and unprofessional waiter, as it damages the restaurant’s reputation.

It is one of the most beautiful places on the island. This time we wanted to end the beach day together with our friends With A relaxing meal at the Hostal Restaurant. Once we Got to our reserved table, we told the waitress That we would need two separate invoices, one for each family. After short conversation, we agreed with the boss of the restaurant that we could get two invoices if we just split them 50 / 50 to make it easier for the cashier. So we enjoyed the evening and our meals. The more We were surprised to receive one single invoice for all of us once we asked for the bill. So be reminded the waitress who is also the boss of the restaurant that we had agreed to receive two separate invoices. Now the lady boss didn’t remember any more what we had agreed. So we again tried to explain why it was important to us to receive those two invoices And that this was agreed before we actually started to order. Now the lady really got angry at us and told us that she is the boss and that we have to accept the rules, That she defined. Wow, Now we really didn’t feel comfortable anymore in this place. I told the lady that this is not really custom friendly and that we might not come again. And the only answer that she had is “ This restaurant is here for 60 years and she doesn’t care whether we come or come not in the future”… Okay, we decided to not come here anymore. Read moreOn our last summer vacation, we spent one week in this great hotel right on the beach. Our room was very clean and furnished with comfortable beds, spacious fitted wardrobes, a small fridge and a fan with cooling function. The bathroom (with window) was equipped with a big sink and a shower. From our room, we also had access to a large terrace which was also used by the room neighbors, each party had plenty of space, a small seating area and a small clothes horse available. The view of the bay was beautiful, and with the window open, we could hear the sound of the sea at night. ||||The hotel's restaurant is located on the ground floor with another large terrace, where you can eat tapas, paella, grilled fish or pizza at reasonable prices, all freshly prepared and the level of the kitchen was very good. At the outdoor bar is also the front desk, and the staff always stands available for questions, for example, regarding events in the area. In general, the staff was very friendly and attentive. ||||The icing on the cake is, of course, the location of the hotel: a few steps across the restaurant terrace, and you're standing on the white sandy beach, where there is also a rental for parasol, deck and pedal boats.
