Parque de las Naciones is a pleasant and family-friendly park in Torrevieja. The highlight for families with young children is the playground area, which includes swings, seesaws, playhouses, and a large dinosaur slide – a big hit with the little ones. It’s a great spot for kids to burn off some energy. For adults, the park offers a relaxing walking route with plenty of benches along the way, making it a nice break from the busy town. One charming detail is the display of flags, where the Norwegian flag is proudly planted in Bergen (as we all know, the real capital of Norway). Interestingly, the Norwegian flag was also the most worn out – perhaps a sign of frequent visitors or strong sun exposure. While there are plenty of benches throughout the park, the area right by the playground could use a few more, especially for parents keeping an eye on their kids. There are two toilets in the park, but they are very basic – no toilet seats, no toilet paper, and no sinks. They are only suitable for emergencies. Overall, a charming little green space that’s well worth a visit for families and anyone looking for a peaceful stroll, but don’t count on the restrooms.

Lovely park. We watched the trees growing in there during a 20 year period! We really believe they are overgrown and should be trimmed back. The park has a lovely lake and its land mass is in the shape of Europe and the flags of the nations are proudly flying. I must point out that the Irish Tricolur was flying in a tattered state during the last five years and this year when we visited it had fallen away and the flag pole is bereft of our nations flag! It was disgraceful how the park curators allowed it to fall into such a state. The apartment we stay in faces this park and until such time that the Irish Flag flies proudly alongside it European neighbours, I am reluctant to enter it again! Still it is a lovely park!!

The park is beautiful. It gets cleaned in the morning, so that's the best time to visit — it feels fresh and peaceful. During the day, there are lots of people, and children sometimes bother the birds, making them hide. In the morning, however, the birds are calm, unafraid, and don’t run away. It’s a great place to relax, calm your nerves, and spend a lovely day. Perfect for reading (just avoid sitting directly under the trees). Unfortunately, people often feed the birds bread, which is harmful to them. If you want to feed them (though it might be prohibited), it’s better to bring some birdseed from the supermarket

My wife and I visited the park this morning for a stroll, having read the good reviews posted. We are both in our mid seventies and were holidaying in the vicinity of the park. We enjoyed the walk and the wildlife there. I can not say that the park is maintained to a high standard. We could not find a bench to sit and relax on that was not heavily soiled with bird droppings. There were areas on the paths in the park that were difficult to walk on without the same bird droppings attaching to our shoes. It is a lovely nature park in the centre of a built up area and was very enjoyable to have a stroll. I feel that the lack of cleanliness on the benches and the paths in the park spoils the enjoyment of what is a wonderful public...

For many years ago this might be a nice park, but it needs a real upgrade! Lots of bird poo all over the place is the main problem. It is worn, a lot of rubbish in the corner up towards the roundabout where you go to the shopping mall (the gate in the other end could be open to make it safer to go to the shopping mall, lots of car traffic in the roundabouts). You cannot sit on the benches because they are full of bird poo. The place has great potential, but it needs a real upgrade. Please do something about it. Maybe add some small cafeterias, or a public swimming pool? Or the water can be used for boats or canoes for children? Or add other facilities that makes this place attractive to people that live in the city and...
