Chose to go here over the other waterpark “Caribe” as my boyfriend had been there before and wanted to try something new. Arrived and got into the park fairly quickly. Lockers were €8 for a small locker which I felt was very pricey. Went on the speed race ride with no issues however then went to try go on any other ride and there is scales at the bottom and the top of the rides. If they think you don’t look the right weight they publicly weigh you in front of everyone and turn you away from the rides. Me and my boyfriend are reasonably sized people and although I met the weight requirements my boyfriend did not which meant he was told he could only go on a certain slide or was turned away which he found rather embarrassing in front of a queue of people. My boyfriend is very muscly so of course he is going to weigh a bit more. We then try a ride together which we are well under the weight requirement for 2 people and manage to go on one slide but go to the LAZY RIVER of all things to be told that we couldn’t go on it as my boyfriend was over the weight for 1 person even though he pointed out that together we were under the weight required for 2 people. Therefore we only went on about 2 or 3 slides before I’d had enough and went to the information desk where I spoke to a really nice man. They offered us a refund as I pointed out we booked online and on the website some of the slides don’t mention a maximum weight. They said it would take a few days for the refund as they couldn’t give us cash due to paying online. This was over a week ago now, I’ve tried contacting them and nothing. As soon as they said they would refund us my boyfriend and I left the park and did not stay for the rest of the day (we were not told to leave but we felt it was the right thing to do) but yet the park can’t honour their word and refund us like they said they would!!

100% would not recommend. Never been to a water park that has weight limits so admittedly didn’t look at that before going just booked the tickets online straight away so maybe they should make it more clear before booking rather than having to click on the individual rides on the map. Bit also for this one to have not massively high ones either makes you question safety a little bit. You don’t find anything like that in the USA!! Very disappointed and angry and still waiting for...

Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some...

Spent a great day here a few days ago on our second visit to the Costa Daurada area. We were two adults and two kids aged 6 and 9. Last year we chose the other water park (Caribe) in the area as having looked at the websites realised our youngest (then 5) was 1.2m and able to go on all bar 2 slides in Aquapolis. We had a really great day arriving shortly after opening and stayed until close. Didn't realise you had to pay for sunloungers (as per other reviews) so ended up having three for free for the day unintentionally. The slides were fantastic and queues generally not too bad. Last hour of the day was like 'golden hour' as many had left the park. We brought our own snacks and water and just bought some frozen yoghurt. Prices for standard 'fast food' options didn't look extortionate. Then again we're from Ireland so everything in Spain looks great value to us! We've been to many waterparks (the adults!) including Disney, Universal, 6 flags etc. which in our opinion although more manicured and themed don't offer the same amount of great quality slides. As far as they weight limits go yes most slides are 90kg max which is stated on the website. I can totally see why from a safety perspective. One slide had a 60kg limit, I weigh 58kg so went on it and seriously had the fear of coming out over the edge 😂. Didn't risk a second go on that one! Scales are provided at the entrance to queuing area as well as signage so no need for people to queue and then argue with the teen lifeguard at the top. In summary if you love fast, fun water slides, weigh under 90kg and measure 120cm + this park is for you. Check the weather forecast, book online, arrive early, bring your own snacks, expect some queues and enjoy. And I guess pay for a...

Pros: Close to the seafront and many hotels in La Pineda resort so conveniently located. Not too big but big enough and simple to walk around Cons: Visited in Aug so lots of Spanish visitors as well as foreign tourists - so it was extremely busy. This meant lots of patient queuing; we only got on 4 slides over the course of 4 hours, without stopping for food or drink. Speaking of which, food and drink kiosks were extremely busy & this would have been more queuing time (bring your own supplies if you can). There was little to no shade or space to sit down. If you go with eg an older adult who has no intention of using any of the slides, (i) they will have no where to sit down unless you get there early - otherwise all sunbeds will be taken; (ii) you still have to pay to rent basic sunbeds; (iii) this is an addition to the entrance fee which everyone pays even if (as above) they’ve no intention of using the slides (why can’t they implement a basic fee structure for such visitors?) The slides were not, in our view, all that good. Mediocre at best and we’ve experienced better at larger hotels eg in Turkey. The slides are either slow (regardless of clothing or participant size/weight) or just not exciting. In particular the wave pool experience was abysmal. We entered at the time of change over. We then waited for at least 20mins before the klaxon indicating waves in 2mins, sounded. For another 6mins nothing happened. Then ‘waves’ started which were so minimal they were barely noticeable. Fed up, we got out to look for other slide / water attractions. Summary - not at all value for money and recommend spending your hard earned wages elsewhere. We wouldn’t go back.

Helpful advice for Aquopolis; 1. Sun loungers come at the cost of 5 euros per lounger per person. There is grass and picnic benches for you to place your belongings if you're not willing to pay for a lounger, however these areas are not close to any of the pools. 2. Whilst we visited we heard stories of belongings being stolen. You can hire a locker but this also comes at a cost. 3. If you're visiting as part of a package do NOT remove your wristband. This band is your access ticket for the entirety of your holiday. Any wristband damaged or broken are void. 4. The park is a LOT quieter in the afternoon. We visited once at opening time (10:30) and the queues were around an hour per ride. We visited again at 15:00 and the maximum queue time was around 5 minutes, majority of the rides being walk on. 5. There is a weight limit for some of the rides. Do not queue for the ride if you exceed the weight limit as you'll spend your time queuing just to be denied access to the ride later. Any ride that has a weight limit has scales available if you're unsure if you can ride. This however is for the minority of rides. Most rides do not have a weight limit. 6. Life jackets are free to use and range in sizes from XS to XXL. We took our 14 month old and the XS fit him well. 7. There are VIP areas on site which come with comfier sun loungers, double beds with netted curtains, private seating areas etc, if you're willing to pay the extra cost. 8. Fast pass tickets are available at the desk but I am unsure on the cost. I recommend visiting in the afternoon if possible and avoid the extra cost of having to pay for fast pass.
