Nice small sandy beach where you can find a lot of nudists. Through the small hill you are able to get to Playa Memos.

Playa Caleta del Congrio is a secluded beach located in the southern part of Lanzarote, within the Los Ajaches Natural Park. This unspoiled beach stretches approximately 280 meters in length and 20 meters in width, offering fine white sand and clear turquoise waters.

Key Features: • Natural Beauty: The beach is surrounded by picturesque dunes and cliffs, providing a tranquil and scenic environment. • Nudist-Friendly: Playa Caleta del Congrio is known for its naturist-friendly atmosphere, with a designated area for nudist sunbathers. • Activities: The calm waters make it suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and other water activities.

Access and Amenities: • Access: The beach can be reached by foot, car, or boat. For those driving, there is an unguarded parking lot with limited spaces available. • Amenities: There are no facilities on-site, so visitors should bring their own provisions, including food and water. A camping area is available with basic amenities such as showers, electricity, drinkable water, and small barbecues for cooking.

Nearby Attractions: • Papagayo Beaches: Playa Caleta del Congrio is part of the Papagayo beach network, allowing visitors to explore neighboring beaches like Playa del Pozo and Playa de Papagayo. • Playa Blanca: The nearby town offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and accommodations for those looking to...

After paying 3 Euros to enter the Papagayo beaches area, follow the sign for Playa Caleta del Congrio. We parked where there's a (now closed) area for caravan campers. The first beach is Playa Muelas. If you walk to the right (facing the sea) you'll follow a path up and down some hills about 10 minutes to Playa Caleta del Congrio. It's a trek over and down, but worth it for a quiet, clothing-optional, gay friendly beach. Clear water, golden sand, and you can venture pretty far out into the water without it getting too deep. Not rocky, no seaweed. Although there are no services (bar, restrooms, etc. so take your own food and water), it's way better than the more crowded Papagayo beaches around...

✅ Great mostly nudist beach, sandy, easy access to the water and to the beach from the car park near the camping site 🏳️‍🌈The part at the other end to the entrance from the car park site is mostly gay with some cruising happening when is quieter. ✅ Clean ℹ️ There are no any facilities like toilets, bar etc. Bring your own water, drinks and some food. The closest bar is beside the entrance to the Papagayo beach, 10/15min walk from Play Caleta del Congrio ℹ️ As per March 2023 the admission to the national park where the beach and some other are located was 3 euros per car. Cash and credit...

The guides will tell you “there are no gay beaches on Lanzarote” but this beach has a mix of gay and straight, naturist and clothed. It’s rocky at both ends and sandy in the middle. Road in is gravelled and a bit rough in places but it’s not difficult, we had a VW Polo hire car and it managed it. Definitely worth the effort
