Putting one star because zero stars is not possible. The whole experience from start to finish was terrible. What really annoys me about places like this is that they have the monopoly, because there´s only 2 restaurants there and its in the middle of nowhere. We made a reservation for 14:30 but the waitress told us better come at 14:45 to avoid having to wait as the place was full. We arrived at 14:40 and she told us we were late and so would have to wait...I couldn´t believe my ears and reminded her of the conversation we had had not less than an hour previously. But we didn´t have another option so we asked for a beer while we waited. 2 beers arrived, one full glass and the other not even a half pint. I pointed this out and asked her to fill the glass, and she had the audacity to say to me "That´s how we fill our glasses in Spain" When I pointed out that my glass was full, and so were everyone else in the restaurant, she took the glass away and brought a full glass. Also, I live in Spain so I know this is a lie. I was annoyed at this point but again, we had no other option so stayed. Despite the fact we had a reservation at 14:30, we didn´t get sat at a table until 15:30. My stepdad had had enough and walked out without eating, the only reason we stayed was because my mum was so hungry she felt faint and the trek back to the parking was around 30 minutes. We ordered two dishes to share just to get her through the walk back, which arrived at 15:50 and by 16:00 we were out the door, leaving no tip. It was also veery very overpriced. Terrible and embarrassing. My advice: take your own food to the beach, don´t give these...
Read moreVery disappointing and not worth a visit at all. Even though the location looked beautiful at first sight, the overall atmosphere and experiece at the restaurant was shockingly bad. Starting from the food being way too overprized for its mediocrity and lack of taste and ending with the overall strikingly rude and indifferent behaviour of the staff. My family and I were especially shocked when the waitress laughed at us when we asked for dishes that apparently were no longer available instead of apologizing for the vast number of dishes that were no longer available. Apart from that, two out of three waiters did not even attempt to speak to us foreigners in English but arrogantly and indifferently sticked to speaking to us in Spanish - I would’ve expected more of an effort towards tourists given that the restaurant is situated at a very prominent tourist spot, the Playa del Papagayo. We certainly won‘t be coming back to this place and hope that others won‘t make the same mistake of unnecessarily spending...

Food was very good. Had the black paella dish, no idea what was actually in it as it was all black but it was very very good. Ordered a small beer and got delivered a bottle of white wine. Drank it regardless and it was so lovely my wife has forgotten we even went to the restaurant in the first place.
It's a bit spenny but you expect that when it's the only place to get food for 100km in any direction. Location doesn't get much better.
Staff were attentive and gave us a decent seat for our kids to be in and tucked out of the way.
I thought it was a bit odd you had to view the menu via a QR code on your phone but ordered via an actual real life person. Maybe all the menus had blown off the cliff?
Marked down a star for the price of the food but...
