DALAWELLA BEACH and THE PALM TREE SWING ROPE:

Sometimes there are some activities suddenly become popular among travelers. Dalawella beach palm tree swing rope is one of prime example of such social media hotspot in Sri Lanka. So, if you travel though south beach, this is one which you should not miss. This is awesome and fun in the late afternoon or in the sunset time and a chilled place to hang around, whether you intend put some photos on Instagram or other social media as travel shots. Dalawella Beach, which is on the south of Sri Lanka near the popular town of Unawatuna. Once you are at Dalawella Beach the exact location is actually in front of a guesthouse Dream Cabana. The concept of this swing rope is by the guys at Dream Cabanas. They built this swing rope as something fun for themselves and it has evolved into one of the most talked hotspot on the south beach of Sri Lanka. It’s crazy how something a few mates built has become a bucket list item in Sri Lanka There is a fee applicable to use this swing. Anyway, expect that you might have to pay a few bucks either for something to eat or to contribute to the swing, it’s maintenance and the creators of the swing. Since last March, they have added another rope...

Make sure you add this beautiful beach to your Sri Lanka itinerary 🌴 Dalawella Beach is a charming coastal area located near Unawatuna on the Southern Coast of Sri Lanka. Compared to nearby Unawatuna beach, it’s quieter, less crowded, and in my opinion, much prettier. It’s known for its clear turquoise waters and white sandy shores lined by palm trees and greenery, so you won’t want to miss it on a trip to Sri Lanka. Dalawella is probably most famous for its iconic rope swing, located at the Dream Cabana cafe. Set against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean, you’ll need to pay 500 LKR/£1.20 to use it, but you get unlimited swings, and it’s well worth the money. Base yourself here for the day and grab lunch here, the food and service were both brilliant. Best of all, the waters around Dalawella Beach are home to incredible coral reefs, and there’s plenty of turtles swimming here so it’s an amazing snorkelling spot. If you’re planning on visiting Dalawella beach, I’d recommend basing yourself in Galle Fort, just a 15 minute drive away. It’s a historic fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site with excellent restaurants, bars and shops. 📌 Save this for your trip to Sri Lanka #srilankatravel #srilankadaily #srilanka #srilanka🇱🇰 #srilankatrip #srilankatourism #visitsrilanka #visitsrilanka🇱🇰 #exploresrilanka #travelsrilanka #srilankatoday #srilankadiaries #srilanka_travel #srilankabeach #srilankabeaches #unawatuna #unawatunabeach #bucketlist #bucketlistadventures #traveltheworld #beautifuldestinations #incredibledestinations #asiatravel #asiatrip #visitasia #travelasia #discoverasia #exploreasia #travellingasia Things to do Sri Lanka | Visit Sri Lanka | Sri Lanka Itinerary | Bucket List Sri Lanka | Beautiful beaches Sri Lanka | Sri Lanka Seaside Towns | Best beaches Sri Lanka
