Thotupola Cafe — Restaurant in Southern Province

We were waiting for our order for a hour and a half. And what we got is just 4 plates with 2 fried eggs and 3 toasts each as English breakfast. Okay, then they said that there will be fruits. But it seems it was also hard work to cut them. There were other guys sitting next to us. They also were waiting same time. And didn't even get all of the order because they had to go. For the fact, they took from us 150 Rs less, maybe like an apology. And food was cheap. That's why 2 stars instead of 1. But anyway I think it's not worth it to visit this cafe if you want to...

What a little gem, outside of all the crowded area’s you’ll find this perfect little spot.

Without massive amounts of tables you’ll do without the lack of attention and mass service. It’s personal food at its best, the menu is simple but the flavors are very intricate and rich. The worst meal in Sri Lanka. The chicken was raw and we had to go back with it. I didn't get to take a picture because we were so shocked to have given it to our baby and we immediately left the place. Their curry was so bad. Their Dhal was liquid like water, a bowl of curry and tree small pieces of potato and a really bad salad. I don't understand the good reviews, the guy who cooked our food clearly couldn't cook.
