Visiting Chooty Place - Beach Chill & Restaurant offers a unique, rustic beachside dining experience, though it comes with its own set of quirks. The food quality was generally good, but the portions left something to be desired. We attempted to sample a variety of dishes, but it seemed like there may have been some miscommunication in our order.

One notable issue was the service time. We were initially told that our food would take around 35 minutes, but it ended up being closer to an hour. This delay was a bit disappointing. In terms of the food itself, the prawn curry was a highlight, packed with prawns. However, the chicken curry was less impressive, featuring only a few small pieces of chicken, mostly bone.

The restaurant's location is its most charming aspect, with direct access to the beach. However, it's worth noting that it appears to be situated at the back of someone's house, contributing to its rustic and unpolished ambiance. We initially seated ourselves on the beach but had to move indoors due to the threat of rain.

Finding the restaurant was a challenge; it took us about 10 minutes to locate the entrance, as there was no clear signage. The owner did mention plans to put up a sign soon, which should help future visitors.

Overall, Chooty Place offers a unique beach dining experience, but could benefit from improvements in service efficiency, portion sizes, and clearer signage. It's a spot with potential, especially for those who appreciate a more laid-back,...

Hello madom sir.. sry about our restaurant problems... 🙏🏻🙏🏻this time wather going defornt and we can't fix wather... and beach big waves..can't put tables onthe beach vith water... we olso think what to do.. this wather never had befor...food price we put our manu cheep than hottels and big restaurant prices in this beach... some people's say look like run down our restaurant of course vith this wather yes... we olso have big problems we wish olso avrything going better... ho is know us truly they know how we start and finally fix inside our little restaurant...we not very rich people. So we hard work and make money and try finsh oll problems in restaurant open kichen 😊 really sry obut our little problems madom sir... ho is coment to us blessed success thanks soo much🩵🙏🏻.. and say to us going restaurant down people thanks olso 🙏🏻.... we do bad it's come to us.. we belive karma looking avrything......

The restaurant is closed for about 2 weeks (we visited 15th Sept 2023, Chooty said around 30th sept 2023 or earlier they will open).

Chooty himself (KD) met us anyway and showed us through his place and to the beach, his son was very cute and KD is also a surf teacher too, I expect he would be a good teacher with his kind/friendly/relaxed personality.
