Årstafältet, sometimes called Årsta gärde or Valla gärde, was a grass field and landscape park in Årsta in Söderort within the municipality of Stockholm. Since 2018, a new district with 6,000 homes for 12,000 residents has been built on the field, which is due to be fully completed around 2041. Construction work on Årstafältet stopped in 2022 after a conflict between the City of Stockholm and the contractor Sveab, and construction was further delayed in March 2023 when the County Administrative Board rejected the municipality's detailed plan.
