I have to start with the interior of this kebab joint it is NOT welcoming it feels more like rubbish and old it is in a need of an update immediately the cleanliness is good but because the interior is old you are kind of having a feeling of being in a very nasty spot and just can't enjoy the environment, the atmosphere is as usually very busy at certain hours and it could be very loud and crowded and therefore the staff could be sometimes very grumpy and pushy the self service is a complete disaster since you will have a small platter for the sallad and a big plate for the dish and your glass of beverage and the back and forth returns to the table and sallad bar is just annoying it isn't a buffe it IS an a la carte meny and it is way to complicated that raises question of all, why? The big reason I gave the joint a 2 out of 5 stars is because of the cleanliness as busy as it gets and the some what better quality of the kebab food", which in fact is humongous giant portion that easily serves two large individuals, hehehe... The dish that was picked by me was the kabab platter with rice and I have start with the hot sauce" that isn't hot.. and the kebab texture is smooth and not very flavorful the consistency is not that hot and spicy it is light and melts in your mouth they could have reduced the fat content in the meat the rice is soft and asian but it is packed with moisture, the whole cardamom in the rice is ruining the dish. The sallad is your typical iceberg lettuce with tomatoes and onions, some pickles, yogurt and red sauce, mayon...bla, bla, bla... The food overall is boring, tasteless, huge and pricey the meny has to many items to choose from it isn't exciting anymore this is probably my last visit. At this joint you can sit outside as well and there is the furniture sitting old, in a need for an update" The joint closes for a month around summer time and on fridays, there are new opening hours as well.
Update Mar 7 2021. The restaurant has turned into an all you can eat buffet and you can choose as many different dishes and condaments you'd like in a multiple variety of flavors, some dishes though still lacks good taste, texture and consistency, for now it's more convenient to choose the food you'd like to eat and the restaurant offers one platter, the drink is extra cost and you can easily dispose the food, if you'd like to eat another dish comfortably on your single platter. It's not your average buffet's were you can leave the plate and go for the next one this is not a pricey buffet therefore you have very few options to choose from meaning you need to eat with the same dirty plate overtime you refresh the food on the platter. I honestly has to say that I'am actually going to exceed my expectations and go for another star because this joint has progressed in this segment were they went from, I originally described above to the next level. I do not have any pictures of the buffet (there are pictures by the restaurants owner available thru Instagram) and I do not wish to take any pictures in the next near future. However I did enjoy the food and the variety of options but there are no sweets available nor any coffee/tea after the food which is fine for the price. I do recommend this restaurant...
Read moreOMG! I don't understand the hype that this is one of the best places to have kebab (the Swedish pressed kebab meat on a spit) in Stockholm. The chicken gyro meat is completely dry. The premade kebab meat is, well it is what it is. Full of MSG and palm oil. You can only have the buffe if you want to dinne in. Orders from the meny, is only for take a way. I had the buffe (129 sek) and it was disappointing. Luckily the pilaf rice, hummus, tzatsiki, two different kinds of aubergine scrambles are very good and made from scratch. The deep fried alternatives with colliflower, aubergine and a copy version of KFC fried boneless chicken are mediocre. Since it is a buffe the crispness is gone after a while. If you prefer quantity before quality, this is the place for you. I prefer quality so there won't be a...
Read morebeen my families go-to kebab takeaway since i was a small kid. in that time i’ve gone from eating the meats, to being veggie so now i stick to the fried aubergine and it’s fantastic (the falafel isn’t bad but i find it a little dry for my taste and would rather get it somewhere else, especially when i love the aubergine here so much.) you know you’ve grown when your normal order goes from the standard kebab with fries to aubergine with rice, but it’s one i stand by. getting the cardamom pods in the yellow rice is one of the highlights of the meal. and stealing the pickles from everyone else’s salads. the portions are massive, so for me a portion will often be enough for an easy lunch of leftovers the next day, especially now that it’s buffé style even for...
