Vásteras is one of the most old places in Sweden.This church is also one of the oldest buildings.The cathedral building is rich in architecture.Even from outer of the city you can see this church.It is situated near to the centrum. The internal architecture was rich.The place was well maintained.It is believed that this church was constructed in the year 1200s.Still the church was utmost one of the tourist attractions in Vásteras. The choir was very much big.You must definitely go to this church when you visit Vásteras

Make sure to look in the treasury in the northwest corner (left side after you enter) for amazing artifacts and to learn about this church's place in the history of the Reformation in Sweden. Härligt kyrkligt miljö I domkyrkan med mycket historia.När man behöver lite spirituellt lugn. Jag kommer gärna tillbaka igen. Väldigt fin minneslund i Västerås ”men” lite för trångt mellan platserna där man ska lägga blommor och ljus. För trång Svenska kyrkan borde göra om det till mer rymlig plats. I med att det kommer och stå mycket folk omkring där helst när det är högtider som alla helgon. Tycker att det var för trångt och med massa människor som vill sätta ljus och blommor och några håll på ramla där på sten-kanterna. Att ge konstruktiv kritik är förebyggande. 😉👍🏼🍃🍂🍁

Västerås Cathedral is the seat of the Diocese of Västerås in the Province of Västmanland, Sweden. The church building is a five-tiered cathedral, with copper-covered roof as well as a west tower with side extensions and an obelisk-shaped, copper-clad spire. It is built in the Scandinavian Brick Gothic style.
