Really charming and very cute park. Tidy and clean.. WAS❗️However, I can only say this in the past, because in the last six months, on the one hand, it is no longer free to pay for the parking space, the parking lot itself is terribly small, there is hardly any space to find. Since a lot of people come here, the park has become extremely populated ON A REALLY WRONG WAY😔 i am also thinking of the cleaning situation about the toilets..Plus there is always some renovation or construction plus a closed part ... 🤦🏼♂️It has become specifically unenjoyable ... 😣Lots of people throw away cigarette butts and trash and slowly due to half a year of non stop (always somewhere) constructions.. you can only see half of the park. It became very unenjoyable. And loose it magic.. What kinda sad😏 And it was our favorite park. But the last half year is a tragedy...
Read moreThis small zoo is located in the city of Basel. It is a really beautiful place. I went here on a winter weekend morning. The city bus can go directly to the entrance of the zoo, so the transportation is very convenient.
It was still early when I went, so there were not many people. The little animals were leisurely here, and the surrounding environment was also beautiful. In winter, the leaves in the park turned yellow, making everything covered with Christmas colors. There is a small river next to the park, and the gurgling water is very beautiful in the cold and lonely...
Read moreNot a huge Zoo with Exotik animals, but rather a park with mostly local or European wildlife, like different types of deer, wild boars, Bisons (or rather their European counterparts), lots of Ducks and Geese in the Ponds. There are also domestic animals like donkeys, pigs, ponies and some exotic ones like peacocks and monkeys.
