Lido di Melide — Attraction in Circolo di Carona

The water is a lovely temperature and the general grounds are nice. The water however is filled with seaweed with seemingly no effort to clean any of it up (especially the spiky variant). For a paid beach I would expect some effort to be made to clean this. The stairs are also very slippery on the entrance. The inflatables are nice and fun to do once but too tiring to do again. Some areas of the ground are covered in small sharp stones as is some of the lakebed which can be annoying too. We were looking forward to come here with our two small children. But the experience was not nice: No credit cards accepted. Next bancomat long walking distance. 8.- entry per person is a lot for what they have. The lake has not cutten the grass. It comes to your legs when you swim. You cannot go without shirt to the beach bar. You cannot use chairs to sit on, even when its empty Some staff is unfriendly. Just not relaxed and chilled. Really enjoyed our time. The grounds were clean. The waterpark was super fun! My son and I had a blast! We stayed for about 2 hours. We lucked out and got a lounge chair with an umbrella.
