I arrived in the late afternoon, and as darkness fell, the walk by the train felt somewhat desolate and less secure. I would recommend visiting earlier in the day to fully appreciate the surroundings and ensure a safer experience. I loved this place and the walk to arrive there. The information was not largely available, I had to investigate on my own. The lower part, in the Rhone side, is nice but it needs more signs to guide people to walk there, for example a sign that says "keep walking until the end". This bridge is one of the best places to see the phenomenon where the crystal clear waters from the Rhône river start to mix with the muddy waters of the Arve river. They do not fully mix until further downstream, so you get this amazing contrast between the two rivers when they first meet.
