If you are looking for a peaceful holiday in the nature, Vals is a hidden Swiss gem for that. The Hotel Alpina will just enchase your miraculous experience. ||||Location. The Alpina hotel is perfectly situated in the center of the village Vals, about 10 minutes’ walk to the cable car Gadastatt and 10 minutes to the famous thermal baths at the hotel 7132.||||Accommodation. We stayed in a modern room designed by an architect Gion A. Caminada. The room is a combination of rustic wood design and functionality, freshly renovated and clean. What strikes us most is an amazing bathroom. It has an incredible shower made of Vals Quartzite Stone.||P.S. I would have never thought that I could be bewildered by the shower, but believe me you feel like you have your private thermal Vals spa (which is made of the same quartz stone). ||||Service. Even if we arrived late, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel managers. In the morning, we had amazing frehshly made breakfast based on local specialities. Then we got instructed about our upcoming hiking by a friendly owner of the hotel, Marco. The staff were always eager to help us. ||||Goodies. 1.There is an opportunity to include 4 course dinner at the hotel, and I would recommend you to do it. You will try traditional Vals meals which are absolutely speechless by the way they look and the taste.||2. You have 50% discount to the Vals thermal baths (which is a must to do in Vals!).||||Overall: In Vals we completely switched off our busy mind and enjoyed the moment of presence. We are very thankful to the Hotel Alpina Vals, which took care of any problems during the trip. We will definitely come back again :)
