What's great about EXPLORiT: Variety of Activities: EXPLORiT isn't just one thing; it houses a science center (Kindercity and Sciencity), a cinema (Cinestudio), escape games (like Prison Island), an e-sports hub (EXPLORiA), and often hosts events and workshops. This makes it a great option for different ages and interests, offering something for everyone in a family or group. Educational Focus (Kindercity & Sciencity): For younger visitors, Kindercity provides hands-on, playful ways to learn about science and environmental protection. Sciencity delves into topics like renewable energy and space exploration, making complex subjects engaging for older children and adults. Read moreVery expensive for half of the exposition installations broken in the kids area. Not worth 22 CHF for a grown up. Even half of it is too much for what's offered. Carousel broken, no light in mine, water fountains broken, even the pedals of the toy tractor don't work, interactive screens don't work ... numerous other abandonded areas where you can't do anything at all. Simply ridiculous. When asking the lady at the entrance if that's normal she said only 2 people before stated that there is a problem which seems ridiculous to me as you can read in comments that there have been issues for months. But what is even worse, when buying the tickets she said that 22 chf/adult are worth it even knowing that we came with a toddler of not even 3 years and a baby. So the interesting part of the exposition for us was mostly broken. At the end we were told to write an email.
I am wondering if that doesn't classify as fraud as they must clearly be aware of the broken and non functioning installations.

Read moreI think we didn't visit the same place when I see all the negative reviews. We visited today with two kids 7 and 9 and spent the whole day there, it was very interesting and entertaining with all the workshops in the sciencity, of course you shouldn't hurry through it and take the time to read or play with the various installations. The boat simulator, science experiments and all the scenes are great. Some of them are not working it's true but it's not much and is always the same in any place of this type some attractions need maintenance. The place is very relaxing, you find coffee and there's a Denner for a cheap lunch. Restaurants and bar also available and to be honest it's very pleasant to be in such a beautiful place. The building is very nice and it's definitely a very welcome modern place in Western Switzerland. I certainly recommend it for young kids. Also the staff are very nice, smiling...
