I have been skiing around Switzerland since 2015 and I must say Sunnegga was an incredible experience. As a beginner to intermediate level skier, I was thrilled to find that Sunnega offers a variety of paths that cater to skiers of all levels. The slopes at Sunnega are well-maintained and provide the perfect terrain for skiers of every skill level. Whether you're a beginner like me or an advanced skier like my family, there are plenty of options to choose from. The variety of paths ensures that everyone can find something that suits their abilities and preferences. One of the highlights of skiing at Sunnega is the breathtaking view. The resort is located in a stunning mountainous region, and the scenery is simply awe-inspiring. As I glided down the slopes, I couldn't help but be captivated by the panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It truly added an extra level of enjoyment to my skiing experience. Sunnega also offers excellent facilities and amenities. The ski lifts are efficient and well-maintained, ensuring minimal wait times and easy access to the slopes. The resort also has a variety of restaurants and cafes where you can refuel and relax after a day on the slopes. I can't wait to return and explore more of what Sunnega has to offer.

The best place if you want to see the Cervin Mountain’s beautiful side. The ticket cost 23.- CHF per adult (round trip) to Sunnegga Station and restaurant with nice view. Don’t forget Zermatt village is car free village. These pictures were taken by me with an IPhone 13pro max. At 16th march 2024 (10am to 11:30am) the fog dissipates quite quickly in the mountains. be patient for beautiful photos. and check the Zermatt and sunnegga’s webcams (weather) on the internet to better plan your day in advance. I checked the webcam at morning of my trip to take tickets at the station on Zermatt. The climate is change sometimes quickly. https://www.bergfex.fr/zermatt/webcams/c6108/

This place is very much worth the visit either by the cable railway or as a hike. I went with the first option since it is not as expensive as other cable ways. Single way ticket costing 25Chf and return ticket 29Chf. One thing to consider, if you are willing to pay extra for some fun take the one way tickets and rent one of those bike/scooter hybrids for circa 20Chf to get down. Being there, it is a must to visit the Leisee. The lake is not as cold as it might seem, it certainly isn't one to do ice cold plunges in (around 12°C in summer). The Wolliland is a park for children to play with different water contraptions (also fun for adults)
