Strandbad Zug — Attraction in Zug

It's been 3 seasons that new team is managing this beautiful strandbad. Unfortunately, due to the terrible service, quality and big change I can not give good mark. Far too long waiting time for food, up to 45 minutes after order. Food quality is disgusting. Poke bowl is loaded with soy sauce, extremely salty. Rice noodle dish full of sugar. Hamburger nothing special. Fries warmed up, same with sweet potato fries, soft and tasteless. Locals can not order on german sometimes, people working in bar do not understand german, local language. Responsible manager for Strandbad, very rude and unfriendly, to customers and own staff. Very often payments with cards are not working properly. Cash preferable. Before, 3 years ago, staff was taking care of Strandbad, everyevening grass was watered, it was GREEN. But now, already 3 seasons from end of July it is brown and dirty. Very disappointing, very. I was waiting for 3 years with hope that it will get better, but looks like that every season new team is introduced and they do not have idea how to work there. My friendly advice is to visit it as it is beautiful spot, but bring your own food...

The pizza is good but pizzaiolo is always late, or doesn’t show up at all, and there’s no knowing if he will come, when he will come, how long he will take, when your lunch will be ready .. it’s completely unprofessional and unreliable

All summer I once managed to get pizza and that too because I was patient until 2pm for it..

This is not right, if pizza is advertised as being available on the Strandbad website, and Instagram, then it needs to actually be available, and on time, and most of the time the guy is not even there

This place is beautiful but I have no idea how they survived with such service. My friend and I barely swam when we were asked to leave the beach at 9pm (they told us that they close at 10pm), when asked why we cant stay til 10pm they replied with "It's not worth it for me to stay for just the two of you"....ok... the next 2 times we came they started closing at 8pm because it was cloudy. No rain. AT ALL!! Why close?? There was sun after and it was beautiful but no, they stayed closed. Disappointed because it's such a nice place to swim. Also you can only go to the bathroom til...
