The concept of the place is good but here is how I found the experience.
They're are no sign posts on the way helping you find this building. Google maps didn't work very well so just a sign at the roundabout to point people in the right direction would be good.
Got inside and some of the attractions for want of a better word look great but basically every thing is for kids. There's a climbing wall section and a food court.
We went on a Sunday and was surrounded by kids. We ate at the burger bar and had a cheese burger and a vegan burger.
The service was good in terms of politeness but after waiting no exaggeration 30 mins for one of the burgers to arrive and then them realise that the burger didn't have cheese and the vegan one was missing altogether we were very disappointed with the food. The cheeseburger was a 3/10 and the vegan burger a 2/10.
The food came to CHF 49 for 2 drinks, 2 burgers and fries. I thought this was a bit much for the canteen type surroundings. I actually wanted to like the burger place as the people were really nice who served us.
Overall I think the concept is good as it has working areas, although with the kids screaming I'm not sure who could ever do work here. It's like a WeWork office but with kids. I think if they pushed it as a coffee shop alternative for hipsters instead it would be more successful.
Not somewhere id recommend overall as it was a bit of a...
Read moreIf you are in the Zug area and looking for food options on a Sunday, here is the place to go. Anyday would be ok considering food options, taste are limited for my arrogant US taste buds. I have been there 3 times, twice for lunch and most recently for coffee. They have a play area for the kids, good restrooms which get frequently messed up by the guests/customers. I cannot quiet understand why free restrooms in Europe are messed up, customers need education. I have tried the Mexican, Greek, Asian/Noodles, Pasta and coffee. Coffee was not good, almost American (watery) Greek was good Pasta was good not their pizza Asian was not good Mexican was not ok, I could make a better Taco and I am not a culinary student. Most food choices come from canned sources of raw ingredients and that is why it is not good. Overall for a cold Sunday it's a good place to meet friends and feed the family. The entry checking area needs some energetic people, some of them are good and others tend to make it queue up...
Read moreThe space is promising, with lots of space, many spots to eat and drink, an indoor area especially for kids fun and a space for events. A major flaw is that the offer, despite its variety, is limited. The space is big but it’s not huge and mainly fixed in its offering and that will make people bored fast. People that work there, despite an orderly space organization, are not organized: I went there yesterday for the first time and I am back today: it took me 20 minutes for an espresso and about the same for a coke and a bier. It’s almost like people behind the counter do not see you or look at you until you grab them by the collar... prices are not cheap either, and I think in a space which is not a fully fledged restaurant, restaurant-like prices are not appropriate. Last but not least: no information, not even on the web page, is offered in English... in a place like Zug which is thriving thanks to its large international community this is both a no go and...
