Der lieblich erscheinende Friedhof ist wegen den vielen Persönlichkeiten, die ihn als letzte Ruhestätte wählten, weit über die Grenzen hinaus bekannt. So sind etwa James Joyce, Elias Canetti und Kurt Früh hier begraben. Dies gibt dem Ort das Image von etwas Abgehobenen, doch davon abgesehen ist es auch eine schöne und gepflegte Anlage.
