Read moreOne stop place for loosing money indefinitely. First you pay road tax to enter to into panchagani, then you can meet the real thieves. Parking guys. They tell you the only way to get to the tableland base camp(an open piece of land from where you cannot return on foot) is with horses and they will tell you the charges after you reach the base camp. There you can make a choice to either do a small ride covering 4 nearby spots or a really big ride covering 7 8 NEARBY spots. Charges were 840/- and 1680/- respectively. They deceive you in any manner possible so that you will take big ride. They even offer discount if you speak marathi. Thankfully we have with us one. They charged 1200/- per horse and believe me, its all worthless if you have had an experience of horse ride before. Except two caves (separately charges 10/- pp to enter) and an even worthless spot called one tree point (only tree on tableland, don't know whats so special about it), you will wonder where other spots passed by. Horse guides will tell you DATA about shooting spots which I personally found worthless again. Boom your trip ends at cave 2. Thanks horse guides for spoiling my camera lens which they touched carelessly. I found mud on it. You have to have to pay cash they will say 100 times that cards are accepted but don't get sold. You have to go to a shop very far only to find that the shopkeeper is out so you have to withdraw cash from ATM. Taxes you know. Thats it guys. Hope you find it usefull. My advice is to prefer this place only if you have a lot of money and time or you want to have a...
