A pretty lake, very well suited for people that are not very demanding about its' level of naturality, as it is quite humanized. It has a nice walking and biking path around it, with new wooden constructions underway at the north-east side. It is a birdwatchers hotspot, with more than 150 species recorded (eBirds database), and has a very rich heron colony, with at least 5 species present, with tens of ocupied nests of cattle egret and black-crowned night heron and most likely several other species breeding. It was an enjoyable ride on a peaceful lake, no wind, no rain, and sun is hiding in the clouds. Best time to canoe on a lake.
