South Bay — Attraction in Hengchun

Nanwan bay is the best white stretch of sand that exists in kenting down south. It of course has a decent parking lot and a 7-11 convenient store 2 mins away. The best development that happened their was the availability of some restro and bars and like a board walk on the beach. Cowboys is definitely one of the good ones you can try their burgers and beers worth it. All kind of water sports are available here, definitely try to negotiate with the sales ppl.. you can jet ski, banana boat, snorkel etc but the snorkel isn’t worth it. You have beach beds and umbrellas for rent, but you can bring your own stuff and plump down on the beach and no one will bother you. The sunset is beautiful and the sky throws great pictures. I absolutely love this beach. In my opinion it is the best beach in Taiwan. Beautiful stretch of golden sand and lovely clear blue sea. It is completely breathtaking. I’m just gutted it took me this long to find it. Though I do suspect it has a lot to do with the location. It is a bit long to get to as I live in Taipei but it’s completely worth it. There are many fun bars on the beach where you can get refreshments and enjoy the views. We only paid 300nt for an umbrella and two chairs to use for the whole day.
