Hualien leisure marina whale watching — Attraction in Hualien City

Paid 800 TWD, that's equivalent to 26 USD. Just to see dolphins only. A fair price would be 15 USD max. Any more than that, is a scam. Almost every zoo has it. Unless u telling me, with the 800 TWD i get to see crab migration, zebra migration, or maybe a wild grizzly bear upclose then i say worth. Your choice. Out of the two hours in this trip, a little less than 1 and a half hour was spent on travelling in and out of the harbour. Actual time spent seeing dolphins was around 30 mins. Feel the trip is a bit too overpriced for 30mins of actual spotting.

Spotting dolphins or whales is a matter of luck. We managed to spot 3 on our trip. No English commentary...

Fantastic experience today! I booked only the night before and was lucky to see many dolphins, a whale and have an English speaking guide on board.

Boat was great, it had water to drink and a toilet.
