I did not spend too much time inside this mall since I was here solely because I went to E-DA amusement park in the daytime for my birthday of the day of.
However, I found this mall to be very spacious on a Monday afternoon (probably to be expected).
Within this mall, there are lots of places to see, shop, and rest at.
Both the Louisa coffee and Starbucks have large areas on their respective floors.
The Kingstone bookstore area was surprisingly small though.
I did wander into Muji for awhile and the young lady working that afternoon was very helpful, friendly, and professional.
I also did go to the help desk on the second floor after going up the escalator besides Muji and the young man working that afternoon was stumped by my question of whether the EasyCard has discounts for traveling between buses and the metro. However, he quickly called a colleague and was very polite in informing me that currently the public system in Gaoxiong doesn’t have that kind of service.
All in all, although I didn’t see much of the mall, from the staff I encountered, all are professional, amiable, and worthy to be commended.
I would definitely visit next time if...
Read moreOne of the biggest outlet malls I have visited in Taiwan. Was told by locals this is the biggest in the country. Many international brands and luxury products on discount here. Prices may varied a bit due to your country's exchange rate. Not all price worked out to be cheaper than ur country. There is tax refund counter where u can get cash instantly on the spot with minimum NT$2000 spent. Food choice here also a lot but was usually packed during dinner time. Tried the food court's bamboo bowl which was not bad. NT$169 to NT$200. You can take a shuttle bus from Zouying Station at bus stop lane 5 which cost NT$37 per pax. The bus ride took me about 35mins. Not like what Google said it takes 1hr plus. Definitely recommended if u r looking for a place to shop eat and play during ur visit at...
Read moreAfter a lot of confusion of the layout, I finally understand this place and know where to go. This mall is big! There are two mall buildings that are connected by a set of underground floors. One building has the Ferris wheel on its rooftop, restaurants and shops. The other building has restaurants, shops, kids arcades/play areas, food court. The underground area is similar with more shops, restaurants. You can start with the Ferris wheel building, make your way down to the basement floors, walk a long connector to the next mall building and then also connect to the amusement park. Then in the plaza between the two malls is the 123 flea market with food, clothing and gift vendors that open around 3-10pm. This area is pretty abandoned before 3pm and gets busy around...
