There is not much to do here. The locomotives and train cars exhibited here are in good shape, but it's impossible to approach them, do the whole place isn't really interactive. What's good is this place is surrounded by train tracks, so live tracks with trains running on them are on one side, and the maintenance area is on the other side. It's worth a visit if you like trains and you're...

A fabulous place that you could visit with family. There are many old school type train-engines. They are classic, traditional, and historical. You could select a weekday to visit there, spend a couple of hours to enjoy the nice weather, smooth breezes, and beautiful trains, engines, and carriages. Address on Google Maps seems to be completely wrong. Sun Yat Sen Freeway is NOWHERE NEAR the railway museum. Taxi took me out into the country based on Google's wrong address. Be warned. Visited, and yes, it's closed. Looks like it will be great when done (2 years a workman said) - most of it looks...

A fabulous place that you could visit with family. There are many old school type train-engines. They are classic, traditional, and historical. You could select a weekday to visit there, spend a couple of hours to enjoy the nice weather, smooth breezes, and beautiful trains, engines, and carriages. We got a wonderful moment there, so recommend it to all of you.

這裡是台鐵的苗栗維修工廠，在這裡放置了許多珍貴的文化資產，從苗栗火車站走過來五分鐘，非常方便，每次坐火車經過苗栗火車博物館的時候，寶寶都非常的興奮，免費參觀這麼多的文物，在全世界來說是很難得而且少見的，包含了台灣早期的林業部門火車，糖業部門火車，見證了台灣早期經濟發展的過程，其實我覺得無論是林業或者是糖業部門，都應該修復這些珍貴的資產，無論是發展觀光還是文化資產建設，都是無污染而且保存和提升台灣文化的生命力，藍綠政府整天吵吵鬧鬧，以權謀私，應該多花一些心思來想想如何保存和提升台灣的文化與經濟發展吧，讓這些文化資產以更好的面貌在國人以及外國人面前展示，這就是我們的文化與軟實力，讓靜態的博物館成為動態的生活方式

苗栗鐵道文物展示館，位於臺灣苗栗縣苗栗市，常被稱為苗栗鐵道博物館、苗栗鐵道公園等。座落於苗栗車站旁，利用苗栗機務分駐所之空地建成，並隸屬於中華民國交通部臺灣鐵路管理局。是一座專門保存臺灣鐵道文物與車輛的展示館。 除了臺鐵所使用之車輛外，臺鐵亦邀請臺糖與林務局提供停用車輛至文物館展示。目前展示區內（遮雨棚內）可自由並免費參觀，展示區以外如投煤練習場則需向臺鐵申請參觀。 因為演講的機緣，由內部主管導覽，透過深度的參訪與解說，了解更多台灣鐵道的故事與歷史，還有用零件組成的文創機器人也非常有趣，適合親子同遊，鐵道迷當然更不能錯過~~:)
